One cataloged cell study used a lion's-mane mycelium extract with ethanol-damaged human GES-1 gastric epithelial cells. A separate animal study used an aqueous fruiting-body extract before an acute ethanol-induced gastric-ulcer challenge in rats.
Neither design demonstrates a normal-use human outcome, and neither material should be assumed to match GF-1R without a verified specification comparison.
