Vitality Lab App Privacy Policy
Applies to: Internal TestFlight version 1.0 (3)
Last updated: October 22, 2026

Privacy and feedback contact: pailiu@outlook.com
Vitality Lab provides general wellness records and content. This policy explains how information is handled in this internal TestFlight build, including your local app records, Apple's testing services, and feedback you choose to share.
1. Records on your device
The app stores the following personal records on your device:
- Check-ins: Morning, evening, and existing older check-in records, used to show your entries, history, and trends.
- Saved Content: References to content you have saved, so you can find it again.
- Content Activity: Your “Tried” actions, usefulness feedback, and content display choices, used for your activity history and selected preferences.
- My Supplements: Supplements you choose to save and any optional use information you enter. Browsing the public supplement catalog does not mean you use a product.
Public content, source references, videos, and catalog information are supplied with the app and prepared or read on the device for offline use. These materials are separate from your personal records.
This build does not automatically send these personal records to Pai Liu. It has no user sign-in or operator-provided account storage, and app-managed cloud sync is not enabled. Exports, system backups, external links, and TestFlight involve separate handling, described below.
2. Exports, erasure, and local retention
Settings provides separate export and erasure controls for Check-ins, Saved Content, Content Activity, and My Supplements.
An export creates a JSON file for the category you select. You choose its destination through the system file-saving interface. If you choose iCloud Drive or another file provider, that service may sync the exported file. The app does not automatically email exports. You manage any exported or shared copies at the destinations you choose.
Erasure requires confirmation and removes only the selected category's local data. It does not erase other categories, Apple Health data, previously exported or shared files, existing system backups, feedback emails, or Apple platform records.
There is no single automatic deletion period for all local records. Content Activity uses a 12-month history window. Older activity is removed as the app accesses those records, such as when reading, adding, or exporting activity. This is not a guarantee of deletion at the exact expiry time. The 90-day rule for Pai Liu's feedback and diagnostic copies, described below, does not apply to your local app records.
3. System backups
Your device's system backup may include app data, depending on device settings and the backup service. This can happen even though app-managed cloud sync is not enabled.
Manage backup copies through your device or backup service. Erasing data in the app does not erase existing backup copies. This build does not provide a complete in-app backup or restore feature.
4. External source links
Choosing “Open source” opens a content source's website. That website receives the requests needed to load its pages and handles information according to its own practices, including any cookies or logging it uses.
The app opens the supplied source URL without adding your check-in answers or supplement use information to the link. This policy does not describe the practices of those external websites.
5. Permissions and connected features
This build does not read from or write to Apple Health, and app notifications are not enabled. It has no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not request camera, microphone, location, or contacts access.
Exports use the system file-saving interface; this does not give the app unrestricted access to your files. App network permissions and TestFlight diagnostics are separate: restricting Vitality Lab's network access does not by itself turn off Apple's TestFlight data collection.
6. TestFlight and Apple
When you test a beta through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash and usage information and makes relevant information available to the app provider. Feedback you choose to submit is also shared. It may include your comments, screenshots, and the name or email address associated with your invitation.
This is separate from the app's local storage of your personal records. Apple's handling and retention of information in its services are governed by Apple's own practices, described in TestFlight & Privacy.
Pai Liu's handling of feedback and diagnostic copies is described in the next section. Pai Liu's deletion rule does not change Apple's retention or delete information from Apple's systems.
7. Feedback, privacy requests, and operator retention
Pai Liu operates Vitality Lab. You can send feedback and privacy requests to pailiu@outlook.com.
If you send email, the email services involved deliver your message, and Pai Liu receives the email address, text, and attachments you choose to provide. Sending feedback is separate from the app's local record storage; the app does not automatically send those records with your feedback.
Only Pai Liu handles feedback and diagnostics for the operator. These materials are used to investigate and resolve issues with this test build and to respond to feedback or privacy requests.
Pai Liu deletes feedback and diagnostic copies held by Pai Liu 90 days after the related issue is resolved. This rule applies only to Pai Liu's own copies. It does not set the retention period for your local records, exports or backups, or information retained independently by Apple or email service providers.
To ask about information you have sent or to request deletion of copies Pai Liu holds, email the contact above with enough detail to identify the relevant message or issue. Use the app's Settings controls to manage records stored on your device. Apple manages information in its own services under its own rules.
Useful issue reports can include the app version and build, iOS version, steps to reproduce the issue, and expected and actual results. You do not need to send health answers, private history, supplement use information, passwords, or a health-data export.
8. This policy page and website visits
When you view this policy on vitalitylabco.com, your browser accesses a website hosted on Shopify. The website and its services may process technical information about your visit, such as your IP address and browser request details, and may use cookies, analytics, or other tracking technologies depending on the site's configuration.
Website access is separate from the app behavior described in this policy. The statement above that this app build has no advertising or analytics SDKs does not mean the website is free of analytics, tracking, or cookies.
For information about website browsing, shopping, marketing, and Shopify-related processing, see the Vitality Lab storefront privacy policy. For app feedback or privacy requests, contact pailiu@outlook.com.
